  • Sets up projects under public-private partnership.
  • Allows the private sector partners to operate and manage projects on commercial basis.
  • Assists in preparation of feasibilities of the projects.
  • Participates in securing financing for the projects.
  • Takes direct equity positions in projects as a strategic partner, if required.
  • Ensures the commercial and economic viability of sponsored projects.
  • Ensures that critical linkages for the projects are put in place.
  • Ensures that all government approvals are secured for the unhindered implementation of the projects.
  • Goes hand in hand with the private sector in securing best possible technology and equipment for the projects.
  • Actively engages in bringing foreign investement for the projects including joint ventures.
  • Participates in finding suitable markets for the products of  projects both home and abroad.
  • Facilitates removal of legal and\or administrative hurdles in the implementation of the sponsored projects.
  • Proposes rules and regulations for successful operations of the projects in consultation with the stakeholders.
