A tomato importer told Geo News that reduced production of tomatoes this year forced to import tomatoes. Indian tomatoes are cheaper then anywhere else, therefore, importers are preferred to import tomatoes from India via Wagah border. So far tomatoes worth of Rs. 2.5 billion have been imported so far whereas tomatoes of Rs. one billion will be imported till December
